A few weeks ago when the Milwaukee world was already plenty cold, but without snow on the ground I went out shooting with my friend John. We met this summer at Sprocket Cafe in Bay View (everyone should go if they haven’t heard of this coffee shop) and quickly got to talking about photography.
So we started this shoot out at Sprocket and then found ourselves at Milwaukee City Hall to take photos all inside. Since the building has a ton of repeating floors we went straight to the top and looked down all the way to the bottom floor of took some shots of the repeating architecture.
After that we went to Marquette and went a little bit off campus where I saw the interstate framing the moon in the background. I thought it was a really neat shot and spent a good portion of the next hour just trying to find what looks best.
