As a couple that signed with me more than a year before their wedding date and signed up for an engagement shoot, I feel like I’ve known Nikki and Danny for a long time. They’re both just sweet and genuine people. For the engagement shoot, Nikki had a bunch of great ideas that she was excited about, which makes me happy. Since she was excited about the shoot and proactive about what she wanted, we were able to get all of that and more.

For their wedding, we just shot in this absolutely beautiful church in Burlington. I’ll always remember those bright vibrant colors on the outside, especially this fire-red door where we took a portrait of the two of them. That ended up being one of my favorite shots of the day.

We also experimented with some night-time shots using sparklers and got so lucky with the fall colors at the Wisconsin Polish Center. The outdoor family portraits turned out amazing.
