Racine Wedding Photography

Racine is one of the closest cities nearby my home base in Bay View and I love to go there to take photos for either weddings or portrait sessions. Whether it’s a golf course, shooting along the shoreline near the zoo or wedding halls; Racine can be a lovely place to get married.

Here are the venues that I already have experience shooting a wedding at: Meadowbrook Country Club and Fountain Banquet Hall. Below you’ll see examples from each of those venues.

Meadowbrook Country Club has provided me with so many wonderful memories of past weddings. In fact, in one of my first years of full time photography work I had a wedding at Meadowbrook Country Club. Every time I’ve photographed there, it has been an indoor ceremony, but the location is a beautiful one with a lot of window light and a great chandelier to hang a wedding dress for a photo. Outside, you can take portraits either right outside the clubhouse with natural backdrops or out on the course in a couple scenic locations.

Fountain Banquet Hall is a wonderful reception hall that is owned by people that are really easy to work with on a wedding day. It’s a large hall that can fit a large guest count and has a gazebo outside if you want to take some evening or sunset portraits during the reception day.

No Travel Fee

The city of Racine and its surrounding area is considered part of my home base area. There is no extra charge for traveling to Racine, whether for your wedding day or for your engagement portraits.

In person walkthrough

If you hire me for your wedding, I will gladly walkthrough your Racine wedding venue with no extra charge. This separates me from a lot of wedding photographers who don’t offer this service. All walkthroughs will take place Monday-Thursday before 5 pm at a time and date agreed upon by all of us. We can also meet in the area for any planning or informational meeting.

Half-day engagement sessions

If you purchase a wedding package that includes an engagement session, you’ll be hiring me for up to four hours, which is what is considered a half-day. The four hours is reserved for an engagement session that includes up to three locations, allowing us to travel. For Racine engagements that could include traveling south into any number of Wisconsin state parks or north into Milwaukee.

Single location engagement sessions will be 90 minutes to two hours.
