Burlington Wedding Photography
Burlington is a nearby and breathtaking city to have your wedding and to take photos. It is one of my most common cities close to my base in Milwaukee to photograph either wedding days or engagement sessions or portrait session. They have many, many wonderful venues to choose from.
Here are the venues that I already have experience shooting a wedding at: The Landing 1841, Edwards Bldg Rochester and Veterans Terrace. Below you’ll see examples from each of those venues.
The Landing 1841 is a personal favorite of mine and is an all-in-one wedding venue that is charming and has some of the best spots for a nature background. Outdoor ceremonies are right on the side of a river and they have a vineyard for portraits or a small path through dense woods that create a beautiful frame and arch around couples.
Veterans Terrace should definitely be your choice if you want something upscale and classy. It is also located on the river, but the outdoor ceremony is right outside the ballroom and on a bricked courtyard that can be very intimate. The ballroom can fit large guest counts and has beautiful big windows on three sides.
The Edwards Bldg Rochester was a treat when I was introduced to it. It is a smaller venue for more intimate guest counts and its quirkiness is perfect for the artistic and independent couple. They have a warm wooden indoors reception area and a big backyard for weddings along with fun items like a vintage airstream for groomsmen to use as a getting ready space.
No Travel Fee
The city of Burlington and its surrounding area is considered part of my home base area. There is no extra charge for traveling to Burlington, whether for your wedding day or for your engagement portraits.
In person walkthrough
If you hire me for your wedding, I will gladly walkthrough your Burlington wedding venue with no extra charge. This separates me from a lot of wedding photographers who don’t offer this service. All walkthroughs will take place Monday-Thursday before 5 pm at a time and date agreed upon by all of us. We can also meet in the area for any planning or informational meeting.
Half-day engagement sessions
If you purchase a wedding package that includes an engagement session, you’ll be hiring me for up to four hours, which is what is considered a half-day. The four hours is reserved for an engagement session that includes up to three locations, allowing us to travel. For Burlington engagements that could include traveling south into Wisconsin state parks or north into Milwaukee.
Single location engagement sessions will be 90 minutes to two hours.
