Brianna has a beautiful fur coat from her grandmother and Milwaukee had been just getting piles of snow lately, so we took advantage of the serene winter scene and took a lot of shots!

I've always been a big fan of winter and Elle and Ryan are the same. We had our engagement shoot at the beginning of a blizzard and then last week they were married in a much warmer day than they thought in Kenosha. Absolutely love Elle's amazing white robe. Just spectacular.

I loved hearing the story of these two. They met at an event in Chicago and Jamie, being a well-mannered Marine, asked Megan if she'd be his date for the night and dancing partner. She agreed and now they're engaged. Jamie brought his uniform and dog tags to the shoot and we also shot a couple shots at their friend's home-made bar. It was one of those engagement shoots that was just a ton of fun and the weather for November was amazing.

Brianna is such a great person to photograph. She brings a lot of energy and life to a shoot and I love the bridge crossing into the Third Ward. It's such a beautiful backdrop and shows off so much Milwaukee-ness.

Tim and Nedda were married on the last weekend of October on a blustery day that still turned out beautiful and colorful. Nedda's sister and maid of honor is a great friend of mine, so this was a perfect wedding to wrap up the wedding season on. It was also the first time I was able to photograph a sword fight, which substituted for the first dance!

We shot a wonderful engagement session with Angelica and Tannar at Menomonee Park. These two found each other all the way on the other side of the world in Guam and will be getting married in Wisconsin.

Nikki and Danny have such a sweet friendly relationship that just shines out when the two are together. They really wanted to take engagement photos at Boerner Botanical Gardens and we got there early enough to just get some incredible shots with incredible light.

I first met Raphael and Judah while teaching Sunday School Classes for my church and their son, Patrick, was there. Raphael and Judah are two of the nicest people I know. They invited me over to their house, we ate amazing home cooked food and talked about how cold Milwaukee was compared to India. They are great people!

Anna met up with me for a photoshoot on a rare warm day during the winter. We checked out some of the more neighbory places in Milwaukee, including Black Cat Alley.

Katy and Matt are such a kind and sweet couple that were married in a wedding that matched their personalities at Brookfield Baptist Church. We took portraits in downtown Delafield and the reception followed at Country Springs.

Over Christmas I visited my parents in Atlanta and so with some amazing 60-70 degree weather in the middle of winter, I took some portraits of them outside and just tried some new techniques to do some fun things in the portraits.

Melissa and Jose braved the March weather to take maternity photos at Seven Bridges Park. They brought their puppy along, who was very calm and will undoubtedly make a great dog/friend to the little boy who's about to make his appearance soon.

A wedding at a serene equestrian farm. What an absolute enviable wedding for everyone in Wisconsin and that\'s the wedding Natalie & Ben were able to pull off!
Heather & Mitchel Wedding
Heather & Mitchel were married in on a gorgeous day in The Dells at The Wilderness Resort. I spent more than 10 hours with them that day and absolutely every minute was well spent. They had the ceremony outside on an old tee box and the reception inside one of the resorts' many beautiful buildings. Heather & Mitchel have a wonderful story and a beautiful son and families that are kind and friendly.

My friend Betsy and I decided to tour a few buildings in September for Open Doors Milwaukee. Open Doors Milwaukee is a really unique event where these old, classical and historical buildings all over Milwaukee open their doors for people to come in and tour for free and just see the inside of these buildings that would otherwise be locked up to the general public. We toured the new BMO Harris Building, the U.S. Bank Building and the Federal Building all over downtown Milwaukee.
